It's time for this week's WWW Wednesdays, hosted by Should Be Reading blog (head over and check them out!).
This link up asks three questions:
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What do you think you'll be reading next?
I haven't managed to get through a lot of books lately. Not quite sure why - maybe all the shivering has been shaking the page? Or maybe the cold has frozen my eyeballs and they can't move across the page as effectively? At any rate, here's my WWW:
What am I currently reading?

I'm about three quarters of the way through this. It's a pretty easy read, but a long one. Also creepy and made me feel like I couldn't walk around in my house at night in case Naughty John got to me. Seriously, guys, I'm a total marshmallow at the best of times. This book? Not the best of times. I've pretty much been cowering in bed for three days.

I zipped through Obsidian and Onyx in just a few days. Super easy to read, fast, entertaining, light. Lots of things that bugged me, so I had to try and turn off the part of my brain picking apart the plot as I read. And the main characters? Never have I wanted to smack characters quite this much. But it was enough to keep me busy and wanting to find out what would happen next. I'm partway through Opal, but set it aside to read The Diviners.

I started this one already, but haven't really delved into it yet. So far I like the writing, though it's pretty dark and heavy. Mostly I love the idea of it, the marginalia, the cards and notes stuck between the pages... as someone who has always been obsessed with voyeuristically checking out journals and letters, this book is right up my alley.
Your turn! What have you recently finished? What are you reading now? What's up next? Tell, tell!
