It's time for this week's WWW Wednesdays, hosted by Should Be Reading blog (head over and check them out!).
This link up asks three questions
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you'll be reading next?
Here are my WWW answers!
What did I recently finish reading?

I finished two books this week, the first an excellent overview of the US penal system and a first-person account of working as a Corrections Officer. The second is the newest book by Haruki Murakami, which is a short story about a young man who goes to the library... only to be taken captive and forced to read about taxation in the Ottoman Empire. It's definitely not what I expected, but the more I think about it, the more I like it.
What am I currently reading?

I am bout a third of the way through the Katie Dale book, and so far it's a mixture of good suspense that has me wanting to know what comes next, but somewhat predictable plot turns and slightly frustrating secrets that just aren't being unraveled in a way that I enjoy. We'll see where it goes, though!
What do I think I'll be reading next?

I'm really looking forward to getting started on Bel Canto, and I've already re-started The Cuckoo's Calling, which I swore I would read before the year was out. Which, I'm realizing, is going to be pretty soon! I have also been saving The Night Circus, which my lovely friend Katrin sent me. I am still torn over really, really wanting to devour it, but also never wanting it to be over!
What about you guys? Did you read any stellar books this week? Any you're super excited to dive into? Share in the comments!
