It's time for this week's WWW Wednesdays, hosted by Should Be Reading blog (head over and check them out!).
This link up asks three questions
  • What did you recently finish reading?
  • What are you currently reading?
  • What do you think you'll be reading next?
Here are my WWW answers!
What did I recently finish reading?

I'm still not sure what I think of this one. I love Sue. She's a brilliant writer whose characters provide a perspective on  not only their own immediate experience, but a larger context in which they exist - a political climate, economic circumstance or gender. And always, she does so with her signature dry sense of humor. That said, this book had a darker twist than I've come to expect, and I didn't really get the ending. Which might just mean I'm not S-M-R-T.
What am I currently reading?

I'm really enjoying Mr. Churchill's Secretary. It perfectly evokes the time period, the suspense is palpable and I'm completely swept up in British patriotism. Never Say Never is slightly slower going, but fun to dip in and out of. Not My Father's Son, though certainly not a cheerful read, is engaging and I am a huge fan of Cumming's, so it's really interesting to learn more about his life (which I know next to nothing about). What further interested me was that I feel a connection to some of the feelings he describes in his childhood. Not pleasant ones, but it's interesting to read his words voicing feelings I know all too well. I'd definitely rate it as a must-read for fans of the actor or those who seek out an evocative memoir.

I am so spoiled for choice right now! All my fall/winter reading seems to have come out in the past two weeks, and I find myself spinning in circles, dizzily considering the possibilities! I still haven't gotten to The Maze Runner, but as it's been in the past couple of weeks, I thought I'd move along to something more interesting. I'm really excited to dive into A Brief History of Seven Killings, which is a departure from my norm, but hopefully in the best possible way. I'm also becoming a huge fan of the TV show Forever, and while it's not actually based on this book, I've heard rumors that there may be some similarities. And finally, I've been neglecting my YA reads for the past few books, so I'm considering a regression with Black Ice, which promises plenty of suspense.
Basically, I'd be perfectly happy to put life on hold and curl up to read until the spring! Since I'm sure you guys all feel the same, tell me what's on your list for this week!
