What did I recently finish reading?
I just finished this in time for the movie, which I'll be attending on tonight thanks to Chapters who have given me free passes! I have high hopes for the movie, as I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I'd say it's kind of a tragicomedy, meaning that the subject matter is pretty dark, but there are whole sections that are pee-your-pants hilarious.
What am I currently reading?
Karen over at One More Page, one of my all-time favorite blogs (and favorite bloggers) and I were chatting earlier this week, and this book came up. So we decided to read it. I'm about halfway through so far, and though it isn't exactly what I expected, I'm finding it fascinating to peek into the world of late 20th century publishing.
What do I think I'll be reading next?
I'm intrigued by The Paying Guests, and the reviews I've read are heralding it as a triumph, so I'll likely give in to my curiosity and start this one soon! Likewise I read Karen's list of 10 reasons to watch The Maze Runner this weekend, and it reminded me that I still haven't read any of the books in this series! I don't expect it to be a big commitment in terms of time, so I'm considering diving into that next.
