for the duration of 3 years with prospect of renewal.

Professional and personal requirements:
PhD in philosophy, interest and experiences in interdisciplinary cooperation with history of science and technology as well as with the sciences. An interest in philosophical problems of scientific knowledge is expected. Participation in the existing research cooperation with the institute of physics is desirable. The ability to teach a broad variety in philosophy and to support the teaching of the annual logic course is required.

Tasks and Responsibilities:
Cooperation in the IZWT. Participation in the administrative tasks of the institute of philosophy (Faculty A (Humanities)) that have to be solved cooperatively. Teaching in philosophy and research in the philosophy of science.

The option of further qualification (“Habilitation” or equivalent) for an academic career is possible.
