Lecturer: Bence Nanay
Title: Beliefs and emotions
Date and time: Wednesday, November 11, 3:30pm (Swiss time)
The zoom link is distributed after registration at https://www.usi.ch/it/feeds/36499
The lecture can also be attended in person (registration at the same link).
The open lecture is organised by the MAP – our research-oriented master program.
As you know, our program is specifically designed for students aiming for doctoral studies in Metaphysics, Logic, Philosophy of Mind, or Philosophy of Physics. Our placement record is one of the program’s strongest features, and has remained constant through the years:
- 87% of graduates seeking a funded PhD successfully started one.
- 76% of all graduates (regardless of career ambitions) have moved into doctoral programs.
In case you have (both BA and MA) students who might be interested, applications for spring 2027 are currently open. Applications for autumn 2027 will open in December. The application deadline for students from outside the EU or Switzerland is April 30. We don’t look for many students (we don’t aim to select more than 20 students each year), but only for the right ones (who have a good background and want to do a PhD in one of the four areas mentioned above).
