Criticisms can sting. And sometimes we may find that we're not in the mood to receive one when it comes, but whether they come from a stranger or a dear one the sensible thing I find to do is ignore the tone of voice if it was dissembling, the smirk if it was existent and consider the possible validity in the actual words spoken. When I think back I find that I've only really grown to the extent to which I have chosen to consider a criticism. When I wore this outfit to work I was told it could go better with a white shirt. I considered that and I can imagine the beauty in wearing a white t-shirt with the retro floral skirt especially when I have on a statement necklace on the collar. I do really love this look of stripe shirt and floral because you all know I do do do! Lol. I've worn stripe and floral so many times on the blog I've lost count. But, Yes. I see the possibility of a white shirt.
