THE SHOWS Married at First Sight
Finally, it's therapy week and all of our couples desperately needed to see Dr. Joseph. I know they needed to talk through their problems and concentrate on his advice, but it had to be tough with those Dracula eyebrows staring them in the face. They freak me out. Loved that Dr. Joe had Davina on video talking about herself and seeing some of the things she does to push men away. I did think that what she saw in Sean was spot on. He is weak or at least appears to be a bit of a p*ssy and I think it's fair of Davina to realize this. The Lego thing was weird to me. What adults with no kids build with Lego's and make farm animal sounds? Nobody I know. Glad to see Ryan and Jess are doing better, sort of bummed that Jacklyn and Ryan aren't. Next week looks promising for all of our couples.
Deadliest Catch
The good thing about Deadliest Catch is that you can tune in whenever you want and still know the players and what's going on. You don't have to watch EVERY week. This week, the crews were all fishing during a crazy massive typhoon. Huge waves, dangerous conditions where the Captains all called their crews in and stopped fishing. I can't imagine the cold, the wet, the smell and how the men stay standing and balanced on a regular day, let alone in a typhoon. Happy to see Josh Harris at the helm and learning how to be a Captain. His Dad would be so proud of him. I can't stand Elliot, I don't know why he was invited back on the show. He's a drug addict. Doing drugs on the boat, putting people's lives in danger and doing it all on TV. They've gotta pull the plug on this guy big time.THE OTHER STUFF
-Soooo this must just not be my year. First SNL 40th Anniversay, and now...no ABC Upfront for me last night. Work always comes first and yesterday was a crazy, crazy day. Of course as I was working I was reading the live feeds and OF COURSE The cast of The Goldbergs was there the ONE year I was not. WTF! WORK SUCKS! I need to retire. Then again, if I retired, they wouldn't invite me to the Upfronts. I did watch some of the trailers, but again, I'm holding all of my comments until I watch all the pilots. Go for it.
