If you haven't heard yet, my grandfather makes THE BEST fruit smoothies/ milkshakes/ etc... When they say your grandparents' cooking is the best, it's true. There's a sense of home about it. Instead of being like our generation where we want take out all the time, they have value in making a home cooked meal, saying a prayer, and sitting around the dinner table as a family. My grandparents are quirky and love to use these gigantic straws, despite tiny glasses. And you just have to smile because it becomes a family tradition.
Post smoothies, the family and I took a quick trip to town for our usual Wegman's run. So of course, with the rainy weather, a little J.Crew dress and Vineyard Vines hat were the perfect pair. I dressed up the outfit with my strands of pearls because pearls are always a classic statement piece. xoBCC
