Hello everyone! Welcome back to the Winter Wonderland series! This week I’m introducing you to the Hello Hair Hydrating Mask.
Since we’re now well and truly into the coldest months of the year, we need to make sure we stay warm and hydrated, and your hair also needs this attention.
Thanks to our desire of blistering hot showers, the heat naturally strips our skin of the oils that we rely on to keep our skin and hair at it’s best. So, the best way to restore that back is the hydrate what was taken away.
I know in the winter time my hair and skin suffers the most. This week, I’m using the Hello Hair Hydrating Mask to make sure my hair maintains it’s shine, strength and doesn’t dry out when I’m off enjoying the cold weather.
Take a handful at a time and massage the product into your scalp and I like to run it through to the tips, where my hair is the driest. It smells like coconuts and melts into your hair beautifully. Don’t worry if the product is a little lumpy when you squeeze it out of the bag (the oils naturally do that), heating it up in the palm of your hands will get rid of them and you can continue to smooth it through the hair.
Cover you hair with a shower cap (and if you don’t have one handy, cling wrap), wait 30 minutes and then wash your hair as normal. Just for the sake of the mask, I like to air-dry my hair, but you can blow-dry if you want. Your hair will feel so soft, happy and ready to combat any sort of weather.
The thing I love most about this mask is that it “resets” your hair. Once I started using this mask, my hair doesn’t get greasy for a week before I need to wash it. I do this once a month to 6 weeks. I feel my my hair co-operates a little better about having longer stretches between washes after I’ve used this mask.
Hello Hair Hydrating Mask is available from their website for $15.00AU (100g) with FREE shipping within Australia, $3.50AU per item for our mates in New Zealand and $5.00 per item for the rest of the world. Shipping is reasonably fast too.
