Windows XP is Going to Be Knocked out Soon

Posted on the 09 March 2014 by Savio Menezes

Microsoft XP is a good operating system. But now time is come to say goodbye to it. Microsoft will end its support for Windows XP from 8th April 2014. This means that no automatic windows updates will be available for XP after 8th April. Slowly software companies will also not take into consideration of XP for their software. Say suppose a company creates software X, it will not test whether X works on XP or not. Secondly if antimalware software companies stop their support for XP then your system is open to malware attack. So if you are using XP then it is better switch to other windows operating systems like Windows Vista, Windows 7 or Windows 8. You can also try Linux. One example of Linux OS is Ubuntu. It is free and suitable for a Linux newbie. You can run most of windows software on Ubuntu using Wine. To go to their website click here.
