Happy hump day guys! How are you all doing this morning?
This post is a little later than normal, I know. I think all my late nights from babysitting last weekend finally caught up to me. My alarm went off at 6. I blinked and it was 6:45. I blinked again and it was 7:10. I rolled over and it was 7:45. I finally hit the showers at 8am.
Breakfast
Hot magic lemon water and a kodiak cake with an egg on top.
I wanted that whole salty-sweet thing this morning. I made another Whole Wheat, Oat and Honey Kodiak cake. Then I fried an egg in oil with salt and pepper. I drizzled a little maple syrup on top of the cake and topped that with the egg.
Look at all this magic.
(in a deep sexy voice) Ohhhh yeahhh!
Healthy Guideline Checks:
- swapped bad carbs for good ones (check!)
- 1 serving healthy oils (check)
- hot magic lemon water (check)
- 1 serving probiotic (check)
Not too shabby shabby!
Kodiak cakes have a tendency to disappear…
1 kodiak cake with syrup and an egg: 350 calories
Oh my way to work I stopped by Starbucks. I wanted a tall Pikes and the only coffee I had at home was white chocolate strawberry flavored. (girly!)
I also picked up some salt and pepper popcorn. I LOVED this snack the first time I had it and I couldn’t resist picking up some for this afternoon.
The first day is always the hardest!
Yesterday I was darn determined to have a full day of clean eating. And jumping back on the train is darn hard. But I put my head down and finished the entire day. I got all my healthy guidelines, I didn’t splurge on silly bad-for-me snacks and I did my fitness.
Getting through that first day might be super duper hard. But it’s so motivating on the second day. I’m ready to kick some healthy bootay today.
I have an eye appointment this afternoon… I hate that machine that puffs the air in your eye. I can’t ever keep my eye open, lol. I tweak out.
