Will Smith, the noted actor, producer and rapper is attached to star in the Paramount Pictures action – thriller ‘Bounty’.
Paramount Pictures has picked up the spec script written by Sascha Penn.
The story is set in Boston and revolves around a man (played by Will Smith) wrongly convicted of murder. He escapes from prison with a determination to prove his innocence – a nearly impossible task after the widow of the man he supposedly killed puts a $ 10 million bounty on him, dead or alive.
Smith will produce the project through his Overbrook Entertainment banner along with Adam Kolbrenner of Madhouse Entertainment.
The 46 year old Smith will next be seen in Warner Bros.’ Focus, which hits theatres on 27th of February. He also stars in football drama Concussion, coming out this Christmas and Warner Bros.’ Suicide Squad.
