Wide Leg Pants - How to Style Them [ Style Swap Tuesdays ]

Every season brings with it a set of trends and clothing styles and this summer- it's all about the ' Wide Leg Pants ' trend. This style was seen all over the runway and now everyone's, including mine, style inspiration board is buzzing with this trend and all those awesome outfits spotted on the streets. This is by far the most flattering bottom style that works on every body type. Pick out a wide leg cropped style aka a culotte or a regular hem style like mine, there are myriad of options to choose from.

Unlike some of my past looks where I teamed up my wide leg pants with fitted blouses and or jackets, I strayed a bit from the usual this time and tried a loose fit, peplum-hem top that I decided to leave untucked. TBH, I was a bit skeptical about pairing two baggy pieces, I didn't want to look like a sack after all, but the credit goes to the angled-hemline of the blouse for salvaging the whole look. The angled style distracts from the volume and gives a fresh twist, both to the pants and blouse. To balance the volume further, I slipped into a pair of pointy toe heels that elongates the look and to pull together the entire outfit came the bright bag. Overall,  a look I would now wear in a heartbeat.
