A lot of children (and adults) like to think like a superhero when trying to make it through the day, but in reality this may not be the best way to get ahead. We’re going to take a look at why you should think like a villain and not a superhero if you want to get ahead in the modern world. Be warned, some of these tips may surprise you! Putting them to use is going to help you get further in life, however, which is a bit sad on a lot of different levels.

Why to Think Like a Super Villain

Here’s a look at several specific reasons you should think like a super villain and not a superhero.

  • Deception – Even superheroes are deceptive sometimes. Just look at Batman, who has to lie to the people he loves about his real identity. Is this really different than villains using lies to further their own agenda? There’s a fine line here, of course, because you don’t want to start lying about everything. However, telling a “white lie” or bending the truth may be able to help you get ahead.
  • Love – Superheroes are supposed to love everyone, but this is really difficult in the modern world. If you think like a villain and don’t let love control your life, you’re going to find that you can get further faster. Love is a very powerful emotion and it’s easy for it to envelop a person’s consciousness. It’s much better to have a realistic view about love rather than a wishy washy romantic view of love.
  • Hope – Stupid superheroes always have hope that things are going to get better. It’s a better idea to be a realist. This way you’re not wasting time and energy on something that has no chance of success. On the other hand, if you’re a realist and don’t hope that the impossible will happen, you’ll actually be able to get things done. This is the way to get ahead in the world today.

Looking at the short list above, it’s easy to see why super villains are able to get more out of life sometimes. While superheroes may win all the time in the comics and movies, this isn’t the way the real world works, unfortunately. If you can understand that and quit striving to be perfect, you’re going to end up having a better life.

Everyone on the planet has sinned at one point or another. There are no perfect men or women out there anywhere, so stop trying to be one and concentrate instead of making your life a better one. Leave us a comment if you agree or disagree with us. Do you think villains are more important than heros in the modern world? We’d really  like to know what you think!
