In case you aren't following me on Instagram, my family and I went on a mini getaway to the beach this past weekend. Actually, I was invited by the folks at Delta Hotel Bayside by Marriott for a two night stay with my family. I so needed that vacation. We had no agenda but to relax and eat. It is a brand new, gorgeous property with it's own private beach. It was quiet, safe and the weather was phenomenal. Can't wait to show you all the amazing photos we took of the place.
Talking about diet so I wanted to emphasize my low-sugar diet, which BTW is going strong. I don't believe in dieting, I believe in balanced eating and cutting back back on sugar was my way of balancing my meals. I would crave sugar all the time and I had to do it for my future health. Coming from a family with history of hypertension and diabetes, I had no choice. I am glad I did, I can see the difference in my body.
I don't think I brought this up before, so I booked my India tickets for the end of June. I'm exciting but the current Covid situation in India is freaking me out. A lot of places are undergoing lockdown and curfews and cases are on the rise. The trip is two months away but I'm getting so jittery already. I might be due for my vaccination anytime soon, but the current conditions back home is forcing me to reconsider my travel plans. What do you suggest?
Since the weather is changing, I wanted to upgrade my skincare products. I wanted something lightweight, ultra-moisturizing but without being greasy.
