It's been quite the week! I'm through my second week of job training, one of my friends had her 21st birthday festivities over the weekend, and I booked my first "big girl" flight for an overnight to ATL in July. I say "big girl" flight because it's my first time actually flying by myself. I know some of y'all have been there and done that, but seriously the closest I have gotten to flying by myself is when I went to Florida in high school and flew with my little brother. I'm beginning to learn that budgeting is something I need to be doing more of and that my plans may not always be the best plans. That's a hard lesson to learn. I may not be in Savannah as soon as I thought I would and it's ok. I need to get my feet on the ground in order to take off running later when I'm ready to.
I'm officially IN LOVE with a new kind of smoothie from Tropical Smoothie. It's the Strawberry Basil Lemonade smoothie, totally unexpected, but I don't think I will be able to get anything else from now on! Maybe I'm just one of those weird people who loves basil and stuff but it's so worth trying. Friday the 13th turned out to be a pretty good day for me. Maybe my luck is finally starting to turn around. But then again I probably just jinxed it. While picking up a few goodies for my friend's 21st, the crown royal rep hooked me up with a bunch of fun free stuff for the festivities and in general. Stuff like that NEVER happens to me so yes, I consider it lucky. How was your Friday the 13th? xoBCC
