What a week/weekend! It's been an amazing one but beyond hectic. I spent last week traveling back and forth from my hometown back to the burg to help my mother in her law office. The whole transition was great but the exhaustion definitely caught up with me. On Friday, I took the time to go to Raleigh to see one of my best friends for her birthday and one of my other friends that I hadn't seen since DECEMBER (you know you're getting older when this happens.) It was such a great overnight. I got to see my friend's house that she and her fiancé purchased. It is literally the most adorable place I think I've ever seen. The previous owners really had the right idea with their color scheme. Saturday meant driving from Raleigh, NC to Richmond, VA for one of my other best friend's birthdays. This trip was a special one because the friend I was visiting was one of my first friends are VCU before I transferred, my pledge sister, and has been such an amazing support through everything! Before leaving Richmond on Sunday, I got to go to breakfast at The Village Cafe (which is tradition whenever I go to RVA.) The entire trip was a great one but goodness knows I need to catch up on sleep again. With the semester picking up, it's hard to foresee my sleep being caught up on any time soon. I have almost every weekend planned out until the end of October which is beyond frightening. That means that this semester will be over half way over. THAT is the part that freaks me out the most.Apart from having a minor panic attack about almost being on my last semester of college, it's going to be a great week! I wanted to share a verse that I absolutely love that I found in my reading last night with y'all to kick off the week:Philippians 1:27 NIV "Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together as one for the faith of the gospel." Happy Monday Y'all! Make this week a GREAT one! xoBCC
