But living in the Washington, D.C. Metro Area means that even if you don't actually physically live IN the nation's capital you still consider it your home. And let's be honest, Northern Virginia (NOVA) should be a state of it's own, I mean, I have never said I was from Virginia. EVER. I could suggest they have a NOVA one, but chances are slim.
Northern Virginia means you are part of the metro area. We may not be NYC or LA, but hey we can go to the White House anytime we want (or at least walk by it!) And in my case I have both lived and worked in D.C. — soooooooo....
