I received a lot of emails after my last post asking for more on the subject of letting go in order to create freedom in your life. Many of you were wondering what to look for and how to recognize what to throw away along your journey. I love this question because recognizing and bringing your awareness to those things is the first step toward healing.
Here is a list sharing some of the things that I have witnessed or experienced being released that changed people’s lives and helped them feel more free.
- Labels
- Victim stories
- Blaming
- Resentments
- Being right
- Saying anything that is untrue
- Inner bully
- Beliefs and misbeliefs
- Sadness or depression
- Childhood programming
- Perceiving memories as negative
- Expectations
- Negative thought patterns
- Your story
- Judgment of yourself and others
- Feeling upset
- Anger
- Negative self-image
The list could go on and on. I encourage you to open your eyes, ears, and heart to see where these or other patterns that do not serve you may be showing up in your life. You may decide that you are ready to throw them out so that you can move forward on your journey to freedom.
