What to do When a Child Tells You They've Been Abused
It's the moment we all hope as parents to never have to live through.  This post from the Sexual Assault Treatment Center's Facebook page reminded me how important it is to understand how to react if a child discloses he or she has been sexually abused.  I encourage you to share this with any adult you know.  We all have interactions with children and many of us have children in our lives who trust us.  It is our responsibility to know how to react and what to do next.
If you suspect child abuse, call the DCS Hotline at 1-800-800-5556
