Good Morning! I don’t think anything exceptionally out of the ordinary happened in the last 39 minutes to make it so much better than any other morning but it sure does feel like something did.



Oh- I know what it is… We’re leaving for a week vacation in 3 days! 


I put a enough flax seeds to feed an army of ants in this oatmeal! I’m still trying to work on my tummy troubles and flax seeds is one of the many-many steps I’m taking to attempt to make my tummy feel like a million bucks!

The jury is still out on the flax…


I ate all those oats and nut butter and was still hungry.

Shut the Front Door, Maren!! Gah. Oats, and you’re still hungry? BLEEP- at the BLEEP- shiBLEEPBLEEP!

So… I made 1 little blackberry muffin from this single serving muffin recipe!



I followed the recipe exactly except I used olive oil instead of coconut and blackberries instead of blueberries.

I think olive oil makes really great muffins. If you want to try it out, this recipe is a great one. You’ll be a believer after the first mini muffin. If you’re not, then I’ll buy myself a box of tissues and cry for you.

If I’m being honest (and you know I always am) I’d say the HUGE Double Chocolate Chip ones from Costco, especially after warming them up in the microwave for 12 seconds.
