What’s Up with Episode 2 of AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D.?

Okay, something is up with this weeks episode of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. That, or they’re trying to build hype for something that could be a bit of a downer. First off, we have the peculiar shot of the eagle in the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo, wearing an eye patch ala Nick Fury, at the end of the latest promo for the upcoming episode. You can see a screen shot of the eye patch above, and the actual promo below.

On top of that Clark Gregg himself has hinted on Twitter that something happens, possibly during the credits? Could we possibly get a credits scene in a TV show, or could this just be pointing to the promo they’ll show for episode 3? Anything is possible I suppose. We’ll have to wait until tomorrow to see if anything is actually up. (Could we actually get a Samuel L Jackson cameo? He’s said he would be up for it before, and could definitely fuel the mystery behind Coulson.)
