What’s in My Travel Makeup Bag?!

By Bambileigh

This post was orginally called ‘Shit I’ve Been Slapping On My Face Lately’ but it turns out that everything I wanted to show you guys was in my travel makeup bag… I thought that was a catchier title.

When I say ‘travel’ I mean things I sling in a bag when I’m going to stay round my boyfriends… that’s the extent of my travel. A house 5 minutes away. Living life on the edge me.

The bag in question – about £3 from Primark a year ago. Suprisingly spacious and good quality for Primark!

“Hmmm… just base and brow products?” I hear you ask. Yup, ’cause I’m disgusting. I’ve mentioned this before, but just in case you missed that post – I sleep with my eye makeup on. And brows. I’ve done it for years and I’ve never had a problem. I can sleep in brow pencil, brow gel, eyeshadow, mascara and winged eyeliner and it’ll still be pretty much exactly the same when I wake up. The most I have to do in the mornings is define the tail of my eyebrow and the tip of my winged liner and then do my base – 5 minutes and I’m done!

It doesn’t transfer to the sheets though – promise! And I have white pillow cases so I’d definitely notice if anything rubbed off.
It saves me so much time in the morning. There’s no way I’d be able to get up early enough to do my eye makeup as well as my base before I have to leave for work. I don’t mind going to work without a scrap of makeup on (and often do), but when I decide I’m going to wear some it just makes sense for me to do it the night before!

I cleanse my face before I go to bed, which is why the cotton pads are there, but I obviously stay away from my eyes and my brows. And I don’t always wear foundation and bronzer; sometimes just concealer and powder will do, and occasionally I’ll throw a blush in there – simple!

Do you have a strange make up related habit? Let me know!
