Wondering what attractions can be seen in Dubai? In my article I will tell you how interesting and nice to spend time in the United Arab Emirates. I will also prove that Dubai is not only desert and high skyscrapers. There are many tourist attractions in this city that you must see!I booked tickets to Dubai very well in advance, so I had time to plan my holidays in the Emirates well. For 8 days of my stay I didn't have time to get bored. Of course, how you spend time in Dubai depends on what you expect. You can visit Dubai to relax and enjoy the views. I focused on active holidays , although there were moments of rest and relaxation on the beach .
Attractions in Dubai - what to see?
Fountains at the Dubai Mall
One of the greatest attractions that I saw in Dubai were the beautiful fountain shows . I saw nine of them, of which each time there was a completely different arrangement and music . Something wonderful! Everyone who visits Dubai should see this beautiful spectacle. The shows take place at 13:00 and 13:30 and from 18:00. The evening shows are even more impressive because there is also a play of light, and at Burj Khalifa at this time thousands of white lights flickering and colorful animations are displayed from time to time. This attraction is free so I recommend it all the more.

Fountains in the evening. Beautiful view!
Burj Khalifa - the tallest building in the world
Flying to Dubai, I thought I would gladly visit the world's tallest building. So I booked a ticket two weeks in advance. Because I also wanted to visit the Dubai aquarium, I bought a so-called combo ticket . The price for the BK + aquarium package is 180 AED (approx. PLN 210) for entry from 8:00 am to 15:00 and from 18:30 to the last entry. At sunset (between 15:30 and 17:30) the fee is higher.
Different views of Burj
If you decide on a combo pack, remember that both attractions should be visited the same day .
Entrance to the 124th and 125th floors of Burj Khalifa costs 125 AED (approx. PLN 140). The observation deck is not located at the very top. The height of the building is 828 m, and the total number of floors is 163. You can also enter the 148 floor, but the price is much higher: 350 to even 500 aed
The lift in Burj Khalifa enters the 124th floor in exactly 60 seconds and, interestingly, you will not feel a significant pressure jump. Really great!
The entire price list and packages can be found on the official website of Burj Khalifa .
Dubai Aquarium - sharks at your fingertips
Dubai Aquarium is definitely a cool place for families , children will have a lot of fun in such a place. This attraction is divided into two parts: in the first you will see a huge aquarium and a tunnel with exotic species of fish, sharks, rays and other sea creatures , and in the second part, in the so-called underwater zoo, you'll discover the world of other marine as well as terrestrial, exotic animals. In my opinion, the tunnel is the most impressive.
A normal ticket purchased without a combo package costs 100 AED (approx. 120 PLN). You can also buy a ticket with an additional attraction, which is boating with a glass bottom. Such a ticket costs 120 AED
For more information on the Dubai Aquarium, please visit the Dubai Aquarium official website .
I must admit that our Africarium in the Wroclaw Zoo does not stand out much from the Dubai aquarium. This is a big reason to be proud!
Dubai Marina - the perfect place for a walk
The marina is a part of Dubai where you'll see beautiful yachts and skyscrapers . There are plenty of restaurants here. It's the perfect place for a walk, dinner and a cruise boat.
Marina in the evening
Global Village - entertainment center in Dubai
An entertainment center where you will definitely not be bored. It is a huge complex , which includes: an amusement park, a large number of colorful pavilions characterized for specific countries of the world, e.g. Iran, Russia, Italy, Thailand and Japan, as well as restaurants, shops and entertainment outlets . It is worth visiting this place in the evening, because then it begins to pulsate with life.
In the pavilions you can buy souvenirs and food specific to the country . I could not resist and visited, among others Morocco, where you could buy traditional Moroccan clothes, spices and handicrafts.
Very nice attraction for the whole family and I honestly recommend it! The entrance costs 15 aed (approx. 17 PLN). Prices for carousel tickets are different, starting around 20 aed , of which the best should be paid on average 40-50 aed / person . The Global Village also has a 7D cinema, entrance costs 50 aed.
Safari - adventure in the desert
In my opinion, a must see point on a trip to Dubai . Prices for Safari start within 80 aed (approx. 90 PLN) and end up with 300 aed . It all depends on the company in which you order the trip, whether you want to have a full VIP package and whether the driver driving to the desert is to come to the hotel. In my opinion , this trip should not cost more than 150 aed , and it is really worth paying so much. My trip cost 90 aed. The price included: driving a jeep in the desert (revelation ), skateboarding on the sand, short camel riding, henna tattoo, free time + sunset in the desert and evening entertainment, where dance shows were held, including belly dancing . Unlimited drinks and meals were available at scheduled times . For an additional fee you could ride quads.
Dubai Mall - a guarantee of successful shopping
The world's largest shopping center , which has an area, attention .. 1.1 million square meters . It is right next to Burj Khalifa and you can find a lot of the best world brands, many entertainment points such as the aquarium. There are 120 restaurants and 1,200 stores in Dubai Mall, so you won't go out empty handed.
Souk Al Bahar
It is also worth visiting the neighboring Souk Al Bahar, where you can also buy many wonderful souvenirs and feel the amazing smells of Dubai oils .
Beaches in Dubai: JBR Beach and Jumeirah Beach
However, you cannot forget about rest and relaxation. In Dubai I spent time on two public, free beaches . The first one is located at the well-known luxury hotel Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, while the second one is at the JBR Walk pedestrian street. Both beaches are sandy, but the beach at JBR has much less sand. For this you can see camels there, where you can ride for an additional fee.
Beach at JBR Walk
Jumeirah Beach and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah
I liked the Jumeirah beach more, where there is much more space. You can find beautiful shells there!
There are more cool attractions in Dubai, however, to see everything you need to have a lot of time. I also recommend beautiful gardens such as the Miracle Garden and the huge Wild Wadi Water Park (located next to Burj Al Arab). You can also visit the artificial island of Palm Jumeirah , where the famous Atlantis Hotel is located .
For those who like adrenaline, I recommend skydiving from Skydive Dubai ! Prices start from 1699 aed.
And of course, one more interesting attraction
Fury in Dubai: Lamborghini, Ferrari and others
