WHAT I Have Been Watching

Posted on the 06 August 2013 by Georgewhite @georgew28573812

CHUD 2 - BUD THE CHUD - Unwatchable 'comedy' - how did Robert Vaughn get into this is easily explainable when you see him in Coronation Street...
A FISTFUL OF DYNAMITE (1971) - Leone's last western, set/filmed partly in Ireland, memorable, Steiger and Coburn a good double act, though Coburn's accent is variable at the least, and Steiger doesn't really sound Mexican. And look, it's David Warbeck as an IRA man (though it is set in 1913, before the IRA)
PHENOMENA (1985) - Argento's okay monkey/insects/Jennifer Connolly/Donald Pleasence giallo-rock schoolgirl murder mystery...
TRAUMA (1993) - Nice visuals if little else in Argento's Americanised mystery.
FITZCARRALDO (1982) - Yawn, begins okay, then yawn...
THE SOLDIER (1982) - Slightly boring James Glickenhaus Bond-rip off thriller, which rips off bits in For Your Eyes Only, and throws in a random Klaus Kinski...
THE EXTERMINATOR (1980) - Glickenhaus' 1980 violent video-hit epic, like an ultra-low-budget DEATH WISH not directed by Michael Winner...
THE NORSEMAN (1978) - Lee Majors tries to a film star as a Viking leader (his team including a black Viking (!), and discover America, yet never leave Arkansas. Cheapjack fare.
