Your mouth drops open, your eyes widen in surprise and for a moment you are speechless because you cannot believe what you just saw, heard or witnessed.

What do you say when someone acts like an idiot?

The right answer is… nothing.

Here’s why. What difference would it make really?

Your words won’t change what just happened – your outrage may even make it worse.

You may think whatever you want about whomever you want, but don’t verbalize your thoughts to others.

Keep your negative thoughts to yourself.

Instead you may want to say something like, “That was interesting.” (This is really saying nothing.) Or “We’ll just have to wait and see about that,” or “Life sure is surprising”

Keeping your comments noncommittal will help you appear professional, and ease tension for anyone you’re with.

Because in reality, nothing we can say can change something that already happened.

Great minds discuss ideas, average minds discuss events, small minds discuss people. Hugh C. Cameron

Remember you create your day by the way you think! Make it magnificent!
