Winter equals epic dry skin for me. And summer equals an oily zone. There is never an in between thing for me sadly and with these past cold, dry months my skin has been suffering. It's been so dry and if you have the same issue you know how bad it looks and how hard it is to apply make up after that. I've been using some serums that have definitely helped a lot but the stand out product for me has been the Weleda skin food. I have the deluxe sample and I've constantly been using this.
'Weleda Skin Food is a nourishing and hydrating treatment for the whole body, especially hands, feet and elbows. This marvelous intensive moisture cream is a backstage beauty secret and been around since 1926. Suitable for vegetarians.'This comes out as a very thick consistency. It's a nice thick cream that I use before bed as it does give off a very shiny finish so using it under make up is not the best idea personally for me. For the first 2 weeks I used this every single day and I started to see a huge difference in the condition of my skin. The dryness under my eyes was barley there anymore and the area around my cheeks was clear. At this point I knew this was working well! After that I reduced the use of it to see if it still maintains that and it does. I use this maybe twice a week now and it's just a life saver. It's the best nourishing and moisturising product I have used yet. It adds moisture back into my skin, eliminates dry patches without breaking me out as a lot of hydrating products tend to do that to me. Even though this is a deluxe sample it lasted me a good 3 months. You need the smallest amount of this as a little goes a long way and just blend it into your skin. It's made with organic sunflower seed oil, chamomile, and extracts of wild pansy. A great little product that just adds that perk back into your skin, especially when it's looking dull or tired which for me is everyday in this weather! Another thing I've noticed this helps with is your complexion. It evens out the skin tone and makes it appear healthy and smooth. I'd honestly really recommend this to anyone who suffers from dry skin. Try the sample before if you're not sure. This is my winter essential for sure and will be for a long time now. I've used lots of products that do work really well for dry skin like moisturisers and serums but the reason I love this the most is because even when you stop using it the result does not wear off. Have you tried any products by Weleda?Hareem
