Welcoming #fall2015

Today is the first day of Fall and my mind is going through a rage of mixed emotions: I am both happy and sad, happy for all the warmer jackets and overcoats that will be on rotation from now until March 2016 and sad for having to bid farewell to summer until next April.  From this day forth, all the short sleeves, skirts and shorts will be stowed away until next summer. Even if you plan on wearing them for sometime into fall, they will be layered under thicker jackets and paired with tights and boots. 
I was not ready to let go of this summer maxi dress: I had to wear it one last time before putting it away. It wasn't a day to break out my tights yet, so I wore it with a pair of white skinnies. Since this dress came with an under-slip, I could get away without wearing anything warm atop this dress. With the application of that red lipstick, I am inadvertently sporting red, white and blue, America's favorite color combo of all times. The star of the show are my newly bought BABY C bag.....
I can see myself wearing this dress a few more times this fall: once with another colored jeans and the later with a duster cardigan like this one or may be with a pair of knee high boots....what say ???
