Friday night, I consumed wine, cheese, and Combos with some gal pals.
Saturday, we consumed sushi goodness and saw "The Place Beyond the Pines" with Ryan Gosling and Bradley Cooper.
The movie was... dark. It's looooong (about 2 and a half hours) but we thought it was pretty good. It's not one that I would see again any time soon, but it does stick with you. Ryan and Brad are such good actors...and ridiculously sexay.
On Sunday, we took the pups to the groomers and went out to brunch. #Nomnomnom bloody mary's.
^^I did not snap another picture of the adorableness, because after I took this photo, Sheldon bit Lily's ear...^^We live in a mad house. But at least the pups are lookin' nice and fresh for Spring.
After that, we watched {more of} the Master's and then met up with the in-laws to see Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. It's one of my absolute favorites!
^^Wild rice-stuffed chicken. It doesn't get more Minnesota...unless you add potatoes^^
I grew up dancing, and taught tap, jazz, and musical theater for 4 years -- I love musicals. This is the second show I've seen at the CDT, and they they do such an amazing job. The price of your ticket includes a dinner selection, but you also have the option to order appetizers, wine, and dessert.... which we all did. Duh. I highly recommend it for any special occasion.
It was such a nice weekend, that we almost forgot how much of an evil bizzle Mother Nature is being to Minnesota. It snowed for 4 days. And there's more coming this week. Not cool, dude. I am sending her a virtual thumbs down, followed by a virtual middle finger.
How was your weekend?
