By Steph's Scribe @stephverni

WELCOME TO FROCKTOBER FOR OVARIAN CANCER

This month is all about fashion–but it’s also to raise money and heighten awareness of Ovarian Cancer. As my beloved colleague and friend, Chris Noya, fights her battle, I will do my part to make this month meaningful. I’m looking forward to the challenge of posting 31 outfits in honor of Chris and women everywhere who are battling this disease.

My love to you all as you bravely carry on. We are with you. ❤️

Thanks for following along with me. I love inspirational quotes, and thought I’d partner them with fashion. I also am an average girl who wears all brands – it’s all about the cut, really. Today’s #ootd is a dress by PopSugar : hat and booties by Apt.9. Happy fall, y’all!

It’s already Fall Break time on campus starting Friday afternoon! Woo-hoo! Happy Friday! I’m looking forward to visiting my son on his campus in PA this weekend.

Today’s #ootd dress from Ann Taylor Loft, shoes by Franco Sarto, and briefcase from Lulu’s. The necklace is Italian-made and was a gift from Georgia Angelos of the Orioles. FROCKTOBER | Day 6

“Joy comes to us in ordinary moments. We risk missing out when we chase down the extraordinary.”

– Brene Brown

.

One of the things I’ve penciled into my weekend routine is to leave an some time for writing. I am quite happy and content when I get to sit and create. It gives me joy. Ordinary moments certainly can be extraordinary, even if you just take a breather to sip some tea and watch the squirrels play in the backyard.

Today’s #ootd: Boots from @DSW, sweater from @juicycouture, jeans from @michaelkors

FROCKTOBER | Day 7

“This is Sunday, and the question arises, what’ll I start tomorrow?” – Kurt Vonnegut

Sundays in the fall have always been my favorite. I love thinking about what’s coming up in the week, what to make for the week’s dinners, and what I’ll accomplish this week with regard to my new manuscript. Today, however, I’m thinking about seeing my son at college. We are on our way for an afternoon visit and I can’t wait to give him a big hug. It’s been six weeks since we’ve seen him, and the time has flown. My daughter has enjoyed being Queen of the Castle in his absence, but I know she secretly wants to give him a big hug as well. Sundays are a day to spend with family. I’ve always thought about it this way. In our busy weeks, it’s a day to just sit around and be with each other. I hope your Sunday is a good one and you get to spend it with those you love.

Today’s #ootd: jeans, WHBM, shirt LOFT, over-the-knee boots from DSW, long sweater Cable & Gauge.

See you next Sunday for WEEK 2 of FROCKTOBER.

Thank you to those of you who have contributed to Ovarian Cancer Awareness— it’s a very worthy cause.

And…

Thanks for following along on my 31 days of fashion for FROCKTOBER. 😘
