The Advanced Diploma in GIS Applications Program offered at Vancouver Island University provides skills training in geographic information systems (GIS) to university and college graduates that wish to further strengthen their careers in GIS applications – an area that we all know is in demand all across Canada.

Join Alan Gilchrist and Brad Maguire on February 15 at 9 am (PST)  for a free interactive webinar on Vancouver Island University’s Advanced Diploma in GIS Applications program. In both options, students learn how to use GIS as spatial information and problem-solving tools in addressing real world problems.

ESRI’s ArcGIS is the main software package used in the delivery of these programs including a select number of course modules, available through ESRI’s Virtual Campus. They will be discussing the differences between the In Class and the Online versions of the program, what topics and content that is taught in each one, the admission requirements, tuition fee costs, and also the practicum found in the In Class version of the program.

The webinar will should about an hour, and they also plan on answer any questions that may arise about Vancouver Island University’s Advanced Diploma in GIS Applications program.

Contact Brad Maguire at [email protected] to register for the free Webinar.
