Now I don’t know about you, but this I feel that the WaveJet surfing propulsion system is just cheating! Fair play to the people who made this and will undoubtedly make money from it, but for me it goes against everything that is surfing.
As far as I’m concerned, half of surfing is the planning, tracking swells and weather forecasts, the stoke you feel when your break is going off and you can take your favorite board out.
Surfing is you working with what ever Mother Nature gives you, and you deal with what ever comes your way.
Just you, your board and the wave.
I’m not saying the WaveJet doesn’t look fun, I’d love to have a play on one, but is it surfing? I’ll probably hire one and review at a later date, but until then I’m reserving judgment.
