Look of the Day – A bit late? Yes! Blogging about what I wore to Bloggers United 7. I wore head to toe black on previous BU event so I decided to try something feminine and colorful this time. Teehee!
Watercolor top (sold out) and tulip skirt, PINKaholic. Heels, Forever 21. Necklace, Li’s Closet. Box bag, Femmex. Watch, Parfois. Rings, Call It Spring.
I recreated this PINKaholic look HERE. It’s the exact top and skirt. And oh, this lovely blue skirt is still available! It fits well and it is made of stretchy denim-like material. Love it!
When Raise.com asked me to post a peg for summer style, I immediately thought about this outfit. They are running an interactive campaign called “Closet Swap,” where the brand is reaching out to an exclusive group of fashion bloggers looking to hear about wardrobe transition into summer attire. Sticking to the campaign’s concept, my eyes are set on dreamy and pretty pastels. Pastel hues are easy on the eyes, ultra-feminine, and trendy. Not only that, these pretty sorbet-colored shades give me a whiff of relief after sporting monochromatic/dark ensembles for too long now.
The downside of taking ootd photos in the parking lot? Aside from a slew of random photobombers and watchers, be prepared for stop-taking-photos-and-let-the-car-pass moments.
Two random things I was thankful about that day:
1. The air-conditioning system wasn’t extremely cold.
2. I avoided a possible wardrobe malfunction by wearing the appropriate undergarment. Then maybe include the fact that I survived the day wearing sky-high stilettos too!
