The first trailer for the upcoming drama film Haider has gone online. The project is directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, produced by Bhardwaj and Siddharth Roy Kapur. It is written by Basharat Peer and Vishal Bhardwaj. Music is also given by the versatile Vishal Bhardwaj.
The film is based on William Shakespeare’s Hamlet.
Haider marks the third installment of filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj’s Shakespeare trilogy after Maqbool and Omkara.
The film stars Shahid Kapoor, Tabu, Kay Kay Menon, Shraddha Kapoor, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Irrfan Khan, Narendra Jha, Lalit Parimod and Aamir Bashir.
UTV Motion Pictures brings Haider to theatres on 2nd of October.
