Can you just stop what you’re doing for like, one second and think about someone other than yourself for once?
The trailer was released yesterday for ‘Her’, a film starring Joaquin Phoenix as Theodore, a man, and Scarlett Johansson as Siri Samantha, who is an ‘advanced operating system’. After suffering the break up of a relationship, Theo starts to use this operating system, which ‘acts intuitively’ and has its own emotions and develops in correspondence with the user. It’s a love story, but only one of the lovers has a face.
Directed by Spike Jonze, the film will be scored by Arcade Fire, which can never be bad. ‘Her’ is released on 20th November 2013.
