Having just announced a release date for his first solo LP, Earl Sweatshirt drops yet another teaser in the shape of ‘Hive’. Earl draws for his superb monotone, multisyllabic effortlessness over a grimy, swampy instrumental that makes you feel like you need a wash. With ‘Doris’ set to be released on August 20th, this will be the first test of Earl’s artistry since his return from boarding school/prison/fat camp/Centre Parcs or wherever it was he went.
