<EN> I've always been a person that wears sunglasses extensively. You can see from my previous posts that I rarely take a photo without them and through the years I've even gathered a mini-collection. Recently I was introduced to WARBY PRARKER and I loved the story behind the brand as well as their collection. What fascinated me was the sustainability of the business by creating eyewear with a purpose through the "Buy a pair, give a pair" program. In short, they have partnered with non-profits to ensure that for every part of glasses sold (on prescription that is), a pair is distributed to someone in need. In the idea that sustainability is the new trend in conducting business I applaud their initiative. The name they gave to the frames is given after some of their favorite disruptive writers—Frederick Exley, Ellen Raskin, and Flannery O’Connor. Each author lived a vivid life, on and off the page.
