Our lads took hell of a beating. Not from the fancied US amateur team but from gale force winds lashing down the Royal Aberdeen links course.
Star players for the victorious GB & Ireland team were Welsh lad Rhys Pugh and unbeaten Irish starlet Paul Cutler.
