Hi guys,How has everyone been? I am really quite bored to be honest and having a terrible month :( Hopefully things will get better :) It's great to see some signs of spring though!
I am sure you guys are all familiar with W7 makeup right? It's very affordable and seems to be available in quite alot of shops as well. The only makeup I have ever tried from W7 is some nail polishes and a blusher; both being really nice. I have been using this particular lipstick by W7 in Party Pink* for a couple of weeks as it's become a favorite of mine. It's from their Go West matte lipstick collection.Party pink is a beautiful pearlescent pink color with slight red undertones to it. It's not bright but not dark either. Though its says it's a matte lipstick I have to disagree. It's not a matte finish as it looks and seems quite glossy but once you've applied it it feels matte. The texture is very smooth and silky almost meaning it glides on really well. I maybe confusing you guys here! It's quite a moisturising lipstick and has alot of sheen as well as shine to it. The color payoff is amazing! The swatch above is just one stroke of color. It has lovely micro shimmer to it so it's not too much. The color suits my complexion really well which I love and will suit quite an array of skintones I think. I personally think this is a daytime color but equally a night time color too depending on if you dab it on or go full on with colour!Considering it's a quite a moisturising lipstick, it stays well put for a good amount of time because moisture based lipsticks don't last more than 2 hours on me. I also love their very sleek black packaging with the little hint of pink typography to it.I think these retail for £2.50 which is very inexpensive and you can purchase it from Xtras here. I know Newlook stocks W7 as well which is where I have bought my previous W7 products from so you can check it out there too! If you know where else you are able to get hold of W7 do let me know!
Have you tried any W7 lipsticks before?Hareem x
