VLCC Pedicure-Manicure Hand & Foot Care Kit Review

By Arzoo Sharma @prettynhealthy

Hello Girls,

Today I’m reviewing VLCC Pedicure-Manicure kit. I always like to do pedicures and manicures at home as I feel doing them at home is quite convenient rather than booking an appointment each time at the salon. Manicure and pedicure kits makes this task so easy and one can conveniently do pedicures and manicures at home with such kits.

VLCC Pedicure-Manicure Hand & Foot Care Kit Review
Price: 475 INR for 150g and 60ml

There are total 5 steps in this kit and I was happy that it can be used both for pedicure and manicure rather then only for pedicure. I mostly did manicure with it and did pedicure only once with this kit.

Step 1

Pediglow Hand & Foot Cleanser:

This cleanser features soapnut and margosa extract as its main ingredients. It has a strong lemongrass smell and is very flowy in consistency. It has to be poured in the bucket of warm water and hands or feet has to be soaked in it for 15-20 minutes. Make sure the water is not too hot as it can burn your skin and cause severe redness. I like to add a few additional things to my foot or hand soak so I add 1 tsp of salt for softening the hard parts, honey, lemon and few drops of olive oil. The cleanser deeply cleanses the feet and hands, makes them soft and the pack says that it also fights hand & foot infections and harmful germs so it’s great to be used once in 15 days to deep cleanse the skin on hands and feet and fight infections.

Step 2

Myrrh Cuticle Oil:

The packaging of this cuticle oil is quite weird, you won’t understand where to open it from and you may end up breaking the cap like I did. Cuticle oil is great for strengthening the cuticles and removes dry patches around the nails so try using a cuticle oil daily, get the one easily available and still if you don’t want to splurge in cuticle oil, I’m soon coming up with a diy cuticle oil which works just as great as the market bought ones and that will be all natural without any chemicals which will give double benefits. So coming to this cuticle oil, it has to be massaged for 10-15 minutes, well who has this much time to massage a cuticle oil for 15-20 minutes
Heh
I just rub it for 5-8 minutes and it seems to do the job really well and I apply it at the end of my manicure and pedicure so that it stays for a long time on my nails and do it work nicely. Make sure you apply the cuticle oil on the sides of your nails too.

Step 3

Pediglow Hand & Foot Scrub:

The scrub is creamy in texture and has small gritty granules which feels a bit harsh on hand’s skin but pretty much okay on feet as feet are tough and hard than the hands. The scrub leaves some oil if rubbed on dry skin, you may be able to notice the oil only on dry skin and not when you are rubbing it on damp skin, it leaves hands and feet soft and removes dead cells making the skin look fresh and soft.

Step 4

Cocoa Butter Hand & Foot Cream:

I don’t know why is this cream in the 4th step. I think it should be the last step to seal in moisture and moisturize the skin but if they have made it the 4th step so it has to be used after scrubbing. I like this cream the most in this whole kit as it feels quite moisturizing and I use it casually like a hand cream too coz it smells great and keeps my hands soft for a good amount of time. I use it as a last step too after I’ve done my pedicure and manicure to moisturize my hands and feet.

Step 5

Orange Anti Tan Pack:

This pack is creamy in consistency but dries as a mud pack. It dries in 15 minutes and spreads nicely as it’s creamy in texture. It works quite good in lightening the skin with one single use and I think it will remove tan nicely with regular use like if used once or twice a month, it dries out the skin a bit but nothing much as you have to moisturize as a last step which takes care of the dryness.

Pros of VLCC Pedicure-Manicure Hand & Foot Care Kit:

  • Decently priced for the quantity.
  • Sturdy packaging except for the cuticle oil which comes in a weird packaging.
  • Makes hands and feet soft and clean.
  • Key ingredients are good.
  • Lightens the skin on hands and feet.
  • Has fruity and refreshing smell.
  • Cuticle oil strengthens the nails and helps with dry cuticle.

Cons of VLCC Pedicure-Manicure Hand & Foot Care Kit:

  • The scrub particles are a bit harsh for hand’s skin.
  • Full ingredient list is missing.

BML Rating: 4/5

It is definitely worth buying if you don’t get time to visit a salon for pedicure or manicure, it saves time, money and is very easy to do. Overall it gives good results with regular use so I definitely recommend this kit to you.
