The Vintage Set Festival or #vintsetfest for you twitter folk.
I met up with my lovely chummy Jen and her friend Siane (who both blog for Bonafied Supernova) and we walked down to The Custard Factory to where the event was being held.
As soon as we walked in the room it was filled with beautiful fashion and beauty bloggers. We were greeted with HUGE smiles by Hannah and a lucky dip where I won some W7 mascara. It was a ridiculously hot day so after shoving a drink down our necks we walked around the room to drool over some beautiful goodies on sale.
I absolutely adored the way the room was decorated and layed out. The hay stacks definitely played a big part in making this event as cute as it was.
Cant wait to treat myself to these now I've been paid.
I fell in love with this! It's absolutely gorgeous!
Don't even get me started on the amazing goodie bags, each one had a bloggers name on and was bursting inside with goodies and treats! We were spoiled rotten!
Rethink Remake Relove were there, giving us bloggers the chance to personalise our own collars. I really want to give their workshops a go, they look like so much fun! Right up my street!
I was so excited to see that Nails By Rosie was there, I first met Rosie at the opening of Bits And Bow's studio launch! I love her work she's such a talented and lovely lady! I had one nail done in this INCREDIBLY cute Ice Cream... AAHHH I LOVE IT!!
I also had my make up done by Make Up London Acadamy which I absolutely adored! I felt a little bit too done up afterwards though getting the bus home but I felt a million dollars. I don't really go for a big dark look as I'm quite pale so I've always felt dark colours don't look right on me but after this I'm definitely going to brave some darker eyes.
There was a blogger style challenge where a few bloggers had to go and get an outfit from the stalls around but I didn't really get to see much of that as I was queuing to get my make up done. There also was a Q&A with a few people but the microphone was really quiet and I couldn't hear it too well which is a shame.
I did make one cheeky purchase though. Macadamia had a stall there and after talking to the lovely lady on the stall about how damaged my hair feels lately, I purchased the deep hair repair mask. I want to do a full review on the hair mask soon so I don't want to say too much.
There were so many amazing bloggers there, the room was full and soooo darn sweaty lol. It was a great evening, catching up with all my fave bloggers and meeting new people. That is exactly what I love about going to these meet ups, meeting new bloggers and making friends. That's what I love most about this little blog, the people I've met from it. Thank you so much Vintage Set, it really was a successful night, I absolutely loved it!!
I've put all the pictures I took of this event up on my facebook page here.
