Oh boy, 7 interesting things about me? Let me think...
- I am almost done growing my super thick hair out to donate for the second time to be made for wigs for children with cancer. It's down to the very bottom of my back--cutting VERY soon! I'm still debating between Locks of Love and Beautiful Lengths. I'm going to be doing a separate blog post about it later on (Ms. Lizard I almost died when I saw you're doing this as well! Awesome!).
- I chose my first eyeshadow at the age of 4. Yes, 4! I saw an olive green shadow at a drugstore and begged my mom and she gave in ;) It's been in love ever since. This was the same year I begged to get my ears pierced! I was a girly-girl and I knew exactly what I wanted!
- I got my nose pierced at 16 back before it was a fad, but because I wasn't 18 I had to have my mom come with me and sign a permission slip! I still have it all these years later and never intend to take it out.
- Writing (if you hadn't guessed by my blog's name) is my other non-family love and I've been doing it my entire life. I actually had a children's book published 2 years ago, but would love to get into YA down the road. I actually used to work in publishing!
- Hubs and I have known each other almost our entire lives, but I actually dated our mutual best friend for 5.5 years before Hubs and I ended up together! Crazy, right?
- I am the oldest of 8 kids and a bunch of my siblings are significantly younger because my parents took a break from having kids for about 6 years in between.
- I am the first person of mixed decent on my Dad's side (they're all 100% Japanese) and it was actually a huge deal to my Dad's family.
