{Venue Shopping}

{Venue Shopping}{Venue Shopping}{Venue Shopping}{Venue Shopping}{Venue Shopping}{Venue Shopping}{Venue Shopping}One of the coolest things that James and I get to do now is venue shop. The idea that there are so many different places that we could have the wedding or reception is now becoming a reality. We've seen a few places so far and each has it's own bit of character, it's special packages, and the traditions and that go along side it. Though we haven't settled on one location yet, it's fun to see what we really want and get to have an actual visual for it all. When you go to choose a venue, make sure it has everything you want (including what the venue offers in the packages.) If you want to use someone's barn, see what the fee is to rent a few outhouses. Considering a venue's ceremony insurance is also vital to the process. On the off chance that something could happen, purchasing insurance is a wise decision (if it's offered.) If you decide to use a vineyard or venue that also has a restaurant, most will require you do catering through them as well. Make sure that isn't a problem for you or your budget before committing to your down payment on the site. Last but not least, make sure you and your groom agree on the venue. You may have a gorgeous picture of how the day should be and where it should be held, and that is all well and good, but it's the marriage and both of y'all's happiness that matters in the end. I can't wait to keep y'all updated on the rest of this exciting process and where we end up choosing! I'm so excited that James and I have no entered into our wedding year! xoBCC
