Well my 3 miler is 100% freaking me out. I’m dreading it. Yep. Dreading it. There are no better more descriptive words to express my feelings about 3 miles this afternoon…
But all that aside, your comments on how to do strength training combined with longer runs is the BEST.
I’m super stoked. I think I’m going to combine a few of the ideas. First definitely check out the Nike Training Club app for good circuits and make my day of stretching and strength more of a total body or lower body focus and the day I have the longer run do an upper body and abs focus. Such a good idea, why can’t I think of these things?!
Lunch!
I had to go over to Monterey to do an inventory at one of the stores that sells a lot of my Dad’s photography.
A trip to Monterey right around lunch time always means…………
A stop at Chipotle!!! SCORE.
I had to order 3 things; my veggie bowl, my Dad’s veggie bowl and my Bro’s burrito. It was madness. This is my nightmare!!!
They are so fast and before you know it the salsa you wanted on your own burrito bowl is landing on your brother’s burrito and the cheese your Dad wanted is on this other random person’s pork tacos. Oh crisis!
I finally had all the orders right. And I’m pretty sure the stress has cut at least 2.6 years off my life.
I got the usual. Veggie Burrito Bowl with white rice, black beans, fajita veggies, medium and hot salsa, guac and lettuce. Always get extra lettuce.
