When browsing newly discovered site Beauty Base, I initial thought 'should I just choose my usual fragrances like Paco Rabanne and Creed', which I regularly use, but I thought, for once, let me try a feminine fragrance as I always prefer men's scents. I finally decided on the Valentino Valentina Eau De Parfum 50ml Spray and I'm so glad I got it right. I normally avoid women's fragrances as I tend to find them too sweet and sickening but the Valentina is the perfect balance for me. I honestly find the scent so fresh, romantic and quite addictive.
It has a classic sensual feel to it and I love getting lost in the aroma, especially when it's freshly applied. The bottle is so perfectly pretty, something I unknowingly missed in men's fragrances and Beauty Base had it wonderfully protected and packaged and they dispatch within 24 hours which is handy for my next order. I love how their prices are almost half the RRP's and they have such a huge range of fragrances to chose from, which is so much more convenient as I used to have to go to different shops for difference fragrances. I'm so glad I decided to try something new and although I'll still always be into Men's scents. I've definitely found a feminine fragrance companion in the oriental, floral fragrance Valentina, because even her name is chic. She's now become a favorite accessory of mine that I carry her everywhere with some of my other favorite things. Enjoy! TL. Xx
