Vacationing In Jamaica

Of all the islands in the Caribbean, Jamaica is the third largest country. Over the years, vacationing in Jamaica has been one of the most sorted after activities for visitors to the Caribbean. One of the main reasons for this is because it has a number of world-class resorts at most of the top destinations in the island. The smaller destinations also have their special offers. Moreover, the country’s beaches are most of the most amazing places to enjoy. This is mainly because it is one of the only country that is surrounded the Caribbean Sea. So, Jamaica does not have an Atlantic coastline. Another aspect of the country you will love is its friendly people. Jamaica has been labeled as one of the happiest places to live on earth by many people. Two of the things Jamaican has shared with the world in the recent past are its world-class athletes and its talented singers and musician. 
There are a number of excellent destinations you can choose from when vacationing in Jamaica. Negril, Ocho Rios, Port Antonio, Montego Bay, Runaway Bay, and Negril are some of the island’s top destinations. Some of the smaller destinations include Mandeville, Westmoreland, St. Elizabeth and Trelawny. You will find lovely hotels and resorts at these smaller locations.  For most people who have visited Jamaica its not unusual for them to find that all inclusive vacation resorts and spend most of their time in a lovely secluded environment. However, the country has lots of offers when it comes to different types of vacation experiences. Most of the small resorts and hotels will allow you to get a real taste of what the island is all about. You will be able to experience the country’s tropical landscape and of course its friendly people.  
Mandeville is one of the destinations that have a few hotels. It is located in the central Jamaica and gives access to many unique activities. You can play a fine round golf in Mandeville. There are two main hotels in the town. These include the Mandeville Hotel and Golf View Hotel. The reason for mentioning Mandeville is because of the opportunity the destination gives you to interact with locals and really experience what living on the island is all about. The town has a number of small restaurants in walking distance from the two hotels mentioned.  Another thing that the town caters for being visitors who may have some form of educational research to do. The location has some to some of the island’s top universities that will allow you get access to experts in your field of study. Moreover, the town has one of the largest religious populations on the island. This is spread across a number of different denominations. If you are contemplating vacationing in Jamaica for religious purposes the destination of Mandeville can be the place for you. We have not mentioned much about the other smaller destinations, but these give you great access to interacting with locals and experiencing the island lush tropical landscape as well.    
There tends to be a feel good feeling about vacationing in Jamaica because of the exciting times you will experience at many of the top resorts. This is indeed true, but the country has its challenges with crime that is concentrated in many of the intercity communities. However, when it comes to crime and visitors to Jamaica, the island has one of the best records for protecting visitors in the Caribbean region. The largest majority of the island people is friendly and caring individuals. It’s good to visit Jamaica and have fun at one of the island’s top beach resorts. But, there are times when you have to expand your horizon and explore what the island really have to offer. There are lots of unique things to learn and experiences to be gained from resorts all over the island.
