It’s interesting to me that we live with many caution signs:
From traffic warnings like yellow or flashing lights – to the signs that say SLOW – Children Present –
To label warnings – some of them funny – like not to use the blow dryer in the bath tub!
There are many things in life to avoid and be careful about – so this warning quote on talent by Ethel R Page fits right in,
“As tools become rusty, so does the mind; a garden uncared for soon becomes smothered in weeds; a talent neglected withers and dies.”
This quote is a good call to us all – Warning! Use your talents before you lose them!
Are we using our talents? Are we getting rusty at things we used to be good at? Are we going along to get along and not stretching ourselves? How can we use our talents more?
One of the things I like about blogging is that it helps me use and hone my writing talent – what can you do today and every day that moves you forward in your life?
