Urban Theme Park

High street store Urban Outfitters meets abandoned theme park in Berlin.

This month Urban Outfitters have released their latest campaign. The team traveled into Berlin to their chosen location, an abandoned theme park. A visually stunning overgrown landscape, with ghosts of the forgotten rides hidden between the trees. Though the park has been closed since 1999, it has been used as the set locations for a number of recent films and can even be hired out for events.

Here are some of the images from the campaign…

I love the image effect here, the repetitive pattern and quality of the image make it look a little vintage and very Lomo. It is relaxed and fun and not too serious.

This was a snapshot giving an example to the type of rides that used to be the big attractions. The set up possibilities for a fashion shoot here must have been endless, I wonder how they picked!

This is my favorite images of the lot – the set up, colours and styling are brilliant. Looking at this image, it makes you want to be there to join in the fun and adventure.
