Unknown is a producer whose biographical information I’m finding it very difficult to pin down. Based on the collaborations and label affiliation for his I Cry EP, I could maybe say that he’s from Belfast. But this is just a guess.
This isn’t a guess: Unknown has brewed a damn fine piece of sorrowful atmospheric synth music. “Blame” is a haunting piece of sub-bass infrastructure, cosmically pensive and wrought with emotional vulnerability. I don’t know who Unknown is, but I know he can feel pain.
